PETALUMA, California - I was honored to have the opportunity to design the website of late, great NYC illustrator Bill Charmatz (1925-2005). Since Bill's work speaks for itself, I approached the site design using minimal color and a white background. Bill has a huge archive of work, so I wanted to make the navigation as simple as possible, relying on thumbnail depictions of the work, rather than a number system.
