July 2010
I had pizza and wine with my dear friend Joe Sikora. We were both pretty blue, but after a few hours became at least distracted from our blueishness. I've known Joe since he was a Sophomore in high school. When I met him, he was boxing in Chicago. Now he's a fabulous actor here in New York. I'm so glad to have one of my boys close to home.
Aaron and I spent the 4th of July weekend in Stamford, Connecticut.
Aaron got a new electric keyboard this month. He bought it at the Sam Ash on 48th street, took it by hand (dragging and pulling) to the Times Square station (lugging it up and down the stairs and through the turnstile), changed trains at Canal street (lugging it up and down the stairs) and by the time he got to our stop (an elevated station) had to call me for help.
I arrived soon after with our trusty hand cart, and we both rolled it home.
Part of me says "Good Lord! Take a cab!". But the bigger part of me says "You're so strong!". Whatever his idea was, I can't tell you how impressed I am with this feat of strength, endurance and balls.
