For a few hours on June 25th, it's safe to say a majority of the world's population were all speaking and thinking of one person: Michael Jackson. When I heard the news, I was looking for photos of him, and came across this one (my drawn version, obviously). It was taken at the height of his fame in front of the White House with then president Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy. I think it perfectly captures the effect MJ had on people. Here is this skinny, androgynous guy with bad plastic surgery wearing creepy aviator glasses, flood pants and a wierd looking bejeweled Sgt. Pepper jacket. And, oh yeah, he wears a single white glove with sparkles. And he's walking with the President, who looks at him with the awe and admiration of a schoolgirl. Seeing MJ's get-up next to Nancy's Chanel suit in front of the White House marks a day of triumph for the freaks...
Aaron got fixed. It's just us now...
We have a bird feeder. It attracts finches, cardinals, sparrows and doves. One day when I was walking by, I noticed the dome at the top (which keeps the rain out) fell down and trapped a little finch inside! I rushed over and set it free. Bless 'im...
I started a painting of the Mohave Desert.
