I finished a blue and green painting.

I started a painting of a nighttime scene.

I thought I had beat out my usual Ides of March bad luck this year... I had a great day: A party at a dear friend's apartment, and then on to my favorite restaurant - Cafe Mogador - for dinner with one of my most fun girlfriends...

But fate punished my naive optimism, and two days later I fell very sick. This is the way I spent the rest of the month.
